October Block Of The Month

Hello Everyone,
I'm posting the October Block of the Month a day early......It a simple 9-Patch, this will fit in real nice with our blocks we have done so far......If you would like to join in on this swap then e-mail me so I can add you to the swap list...For my blog I will use this address: LouiseBruce2@gmail.com .....Please put BOM in the subject line.


The sign up will run through the 4th of October and I will e-mail your partner's name and address to you the 5th.If you are new to our monthly swap then please include your mailing address....

If you have never checked out Marcia's site you need too , she has a ton of neat patterns there...our Block of the month is always done in 2 different reds and white on white.

Jackie, that sounds like the book I bought by Carol Doak, Can't wait to get started but it will have to wait until I get some chairty blocks finished....the disadvantage of living in the boonies is you live to far to get in on classes and I don't do well driving at night......Are you doing much PP now?

Another Month Has Almost Bit The Dust !!!

Hello everyone,
How are you all doing?? The weather is cooling down and I love it, We have been able to turn the air off in the daytime for 2 days now.....

For you Red and White Block of the Month swappers, how are you all coming along with your blocks?? I've got my fabric picked out and washed for next months block and I may work on it tomorrow afternoon, only 3 more blocks left, In November we will make 2 blocks for November and December, I don't know about ya'll but December is always a busy month for me , not only because of the holidays but it's time to go to the eye doctor and other things that have to be taken care of.

I have been wanting to start learning Paper Piecing so I ordered a DVD by Carol Doak it's Carol Doak Teaches You to Paper Piece, looks like a good teaching DVD.....now to get my scanner hooked up to scan off some of the patterns from a book I have.

O.K. I'm off for the night, you all have a great Sunday.

Hello Everyone

Hey Gang,

Boy does it seem like fall here in Central Arkansas !! Rainy and all....we were able to turn the air conditioner off for most of the day and open the house up, ohhhhh I love that fresh air!!

Well I wanted to check and see how you girls are coming along on your Red and White Block of the Month?? Please remember to post a message to me and your partner when you send and receive, you can do that by e-mailing me private or posting here in the comment below the message.

I'm still cleaning in my sewing room and I can actually see my 2 sewing machines in there, LOL....yes it was that bad...but all my fabric (In the sewing room) is all refolded nicely and it really looks neat....

Well friends, Frost here said he's sleepy, so it's time to say "Goodnight"...

September Red and White Block of the Month

Hello everyone,

It's time to start the sign ups for September Red and White BOM, the sign up will run from now

until the 4th and I will e-mail your partners name to you the 5th....

This is a very easy block to make, I like the way the 2 reds go together....
